Getting Mad Is Not The Answer

@jamievaron has taken the twitter universe and set it on it’s head. That’s a good thing. She has done something that anyone could have done, and basically has in the process made a bunch of people jealous. What she did is out think, out move, and slam dunk her way out of living in her parents house into a really cool job (soon, only a matter of time!). I think it’s awesome what she did, but even more cool is the video interview she just did. More on that after the jump.

Jun Loayza is a co-founder and CMO of Future Delivery. He also is the one you see in the interview above with Jamie. The angle on this is quite easy to see. Open minded people who think just enough outside the box to take what they know and apply it to make their own success stories.

Everyone should take a minute to study what is going on here. It’s called innovation, and not so much innovative as in coming up with new code or even a new twitter clone, but innovative as just taking charge of their life.

This is what America is all about, this is what is lacking today. It’s not about the next TARP, stimulus, bailout package to come along. It’s about people like Jamie and Jun doing something that everyone use to do. Everyone use to do this. With every bailout or stimulus injection, our society in general goes spiraling out of control into a deeper pit of self despair.

That’s right – Getting Mad is NOT the answer here to solving the issues we have today. It’s about doing something about it. Innovation is not always something a developer does, it’s about every day average people doing what they already know they really should be doing!
