Babson College’s MBA program has been ranked #1 in entrepreneurship by U.S. News & World Report for the 16th consecutive year. Besides Babson, the other entrepreneurship programs in the top five are Stanford University, Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan).
U.S. News & World Report also released its Top 50 MBA programs and our MBA program was once again in this ranking. We were ranked #49 (last year 48). This ranking was our 4th consecutive year in the Top 50 — our longest streak ever. Keep in mind that we only made the Top 50 for the first time in 2003.
Babson MBAs’ Average Starting Salary and Bonus ($105,470) was ranked in the Top 25 and was a +12% increase over last year. This speaks to marketplace evidence of the high regard for the value of our graduates. It also strongly suggests that companies want Babson MBAs who have an “entrepreneurial mindset” and are adept at finding opportunities during a time of economic uncertainty.
