At the Google Enterprise press briefing this past week, I asked Dave Girouard, Google’s lead executive for Google Enterprise, what is their strategy with VARs.
Google Enterprise is establishing themselves as a viable player in the enterprise space with Google Apps. They have over 500k businesses using Google Apps. The key next priority is getting developers and VARs on board filling in the ecosystem and delivering value. Obviously, Microsoft has an entrenched set of business partners.
