Allen Stern, editor of CenterNetworks in New York, offers a new idea with CloudContacts for making business cards useful. You send him that stack of business cards you are collecting in a box and he scans them. Now that might sound like something a cheap USB scanner can do, but his service does a lot more by connecting each card with social networks and backing it all up on a cloud server so you can always get to your contact information. He tells us how he does it, and we spend some time talking about the latest web stuff, too.
