It seems like it. Not to mention that Microsoft has Gazelle in development, and they see a lot of problem which need to be solved for to be viable. I find it interesting that they released information about it the morning of the Google announcement. According to Scoble, Google's announcement was in reaction to something they know Microsoft is going to announce on Monday, but he's under embargo and can't say more. We will see if he's right soon enough!
