Facebook connect: how to and why

Facebook Connect provides a relatively simple way for people to sign in to Facebook-linked business web sites using their Facebook ID. Once they are logged in, people can comment on blogs, products and services, and they can share information with their Facebook friends through their newsfeed. Facebook says some businesses have seen registration and participation on their web sites triple after adding Facebook Connect. In this interview with Robert Scoble, Luke Shepard, a Facebook software engineer, shows how to set up the Facebook Connect comment option for web site or blog owners.
