Kofi Annan, who shares a name with the former Secretary General of the United Nations, is often confused with more well known Kofi. They both hail from Ghana, and both work with economic issues in developing and emergent nations.
In fact, his panel at SxSW 2009 was on breaking boundaries in emerging nations. He consults for one of the major athletic shoe companies.
