The Science & Entertainment Exchange, a recent initiative by the National Academy of Sciences, was set up to build a new kind of social network of scientists and movie directors. Why do that? So that movies and TV shows will better portray science. Here Jennifer Ouellette, the Exchange program director, talks to us about what they are trying to do and also explains the role the web has in getting the word out.
