There were so many ambiguous things about this announcement that it was clear to those of us *outside the beltway* that this whole maneuvre was just window dressing to get the geeks in line. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) perhaps? DHS had a National Cyber Security Division. The NCSD was once headed up by Amit Yoran and is currently led by Cornelius Tate previously with the Secret Service. The responsibilities of the Cyber Security Coordinator are spelled out in the Cyber Security Policy Review put together by Mellisa Hathaway.
