Why Your Blog Should Be on Twitter, Too

Twitter lists, yay?Twitter is in a tug of war with Facebook currently. For a while the thing to do was to use the many content apps to distribute your blog on Facebook. How’s that going for you? Any hits or good comments? I’ve had a few good posts get attention in my "notes" section, but nothing from the pages and plugins…

Then enters Twitter with its "lists" feature. Sure my blog (@myphillynetwork) had its own Twitter account for a while but now it’s even more valuable. Having lists and adding ones to it allows you to have a group that you interact with and a group you just read for edification.

@Techcrunch, @louisgray and lately @scobleizer has wised up so what about you? This is the best way imo to get a concentrated fanbase only interested in your type of content. What comes next? Robert Scoble told me it’s not how many lists you are on that counts, but WHO has you on their list. This can be a great reference tool when pitching yourself to sponsors and advertisers.

Of course this is what I see in my blogger fishbowl. Do you see traffic from Facebook more that twitter?
