It eventually showed up, many hours late. At any rate, I still have a lot of social concerns revolving around contact management. I haven't had hands on, just seen demos... so unless major changes have been made to our favorite squirrelly contact manager, we're going to see that GetSatisfaction thread get a WHOLE lot bigger. Yeah, I have no clue as to how that’s happening.

It eventually showed up, many hours late.

At any rate, I still have a lot of social concerns revolving around contact management. I haven’t had hands on, just seen demos… so unless major changes have been made to our favorite squirrelly contact manager, we’re going to see that GetSatisfaction thread get a WHOLE lot bigger.

I'm having some RSS issues - somehow this post isn't in the SA feed... Anyway. Google Buzz doesn't automatically answer our general concerns about "Google Social" ... IMO. And gluing it into Gmail just makes it even less clear where and how to ask for e.g. a simple effing diagram of how editing a Google Contact affects one's use of Google "social" services. Pay no attention to the man.... Hey look over here! Google Buzz! That said, it's an interesting method of stealth adoption -- and it could be really good.
