Flowtown has published a mammoth infographic entitled “The Rise of Facebook Mobile.” And risen it has, into the hands of 150 million mobile users (up more than 200% since 2009.) The monster covers almost three pages of visual data displaying everything from growth, to current users, to what platforms represent the most access—apparently iPhone users really love their Facebook mobile.![]()
The mobile app marketplace has seen a lot of growth recently, especially taking advantage of the mobility part. People on smartphones and using mobile applications happen to be on-the-go and this means that application writers want to give them the benefit of their location. The future looks both mobile and social.
