37Signals, the small-sized web application company, has come up with an iPad-friendly application replicating a whiteboard. The product, named Chalk, is available free of charge via chalk.37signals.com, whereas Draft, their other product available in the App Store, goes up to $9.99. Chalk is a pretty convenient tool made up of HTML5 and CSS language. There are more powerful alternatives available online, but if you don’t already use one of them – why not give this one a try?
It seems that iPad is becoming more and more a business tool, if we are to consider the availability of E-readers and the ability to load video content that can be used in presentations and meetings, spreadsheets and documents. But the visual capacity and sensitivity of the iPad is something that really attracts business users – converting information into digital data more effeciently, the iPad is proving to be a creative solution in the business world.
As 37Signals has been a respected work-org service, gaining status with the launch of BaseCamp, the company is known for a simplistic perspective for app rendering. The iPad seems a good fit for 37Signals for developing such an app.
