Facebook, Evernote and OoVoo Release Updates for Android

Three of the most popular names in the Android Market recently released some notable updates for their mobile apps. Facebook, rolled out an update , as Android users will now be able to utilize the newly added mobile chat function.

“…you can’t see your complete Wall activity, it’s not easy to change your profile information, and you can’t look through all of your or your friends’ photos in a single shot. Those are just a few of the reasons why we generally prefer to just use Facebook’s mobile sites.”

The Facebook apps are far from perfect, but every improvement is welcomed.

The social networking giant is not the only one who rolled out Android updates. The popular Android note-taking app Evernote has been updated as well. The release carries new features including advanced notes search, to-do checkboxes, easier notebook sync management w/ size view and faster, more error-free note sync.

Oovoo  Android all-in-one app hits the market today, as the free and all new OoVoo Mobile aims to take Fring, FaceTime and Android’s Qik. With a clean interface design, OoVoo mobile enables the adding of multiple callers before starting a call, features advanced video management and more.

Google also jumps on the bandwagon, as it updated the Google Voice app with more personalized features including speech recognition.
