Juniper Finalizes Trapeze Networks All Cash Deal

Continuing its trend of acquisitions and partnerships, Juniper has taken another step forward with the acquisition of Trapeze Networks. Juniper Networks today announced about the successful completion of the acquisition process for $152.1 million in cash.  It deposited the ten percent of the total amount into an escrow account as according to the terms of agreement.

Trapeze is a leader in enterprise wireless local area network (WLAN) systems and management software. It also offers the highest levels of WLAN reliability, performance, security and management. Juniper will take advantage of this, especially for its campus and branch switching, routing and security business. Juniper has also added  Trapeze’s products in its portfolio.

Along with this recent acquisition, Juniper has been on a roll. The company has made six acquisitions this year including deal of Altor Networks in a $95 million cash deal. The acquisition of Altor has a special meaning for Juniper, as it plans to secure virtual environments and achieve their goal of diversifying their products and services.

Moving towards the mobile market, Juniper Networks also secured a huge deal with Juno Pulse for the iPad—a mobile security and remote connectivity service. Junos Pulse app is available to download at Apple iTunes App Store.

Juniper is also helping Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) with its e-Government program called Yesser by use of its switching, routing and security solutions. This will help the Saudi’s MCIT to achieve its goal to develop a high performance network and data center infrastructure as a platform.
