Apple’s Color of the Day: White iPhone Arriving in US Stores, White iPads Tops Black Version

With the tablet and mobile industries being the two largest and busiest ports of the tech industry today, something as simple as a color may change the course of the game. A good example is the mounting excitement as Apple decides to ship white iPhone in the United States following the success of white iPads, with a 60-65% share in overall sales.  The white version of the iPhone 4 started booming the company’s sales over the weekend release, and is available in both Verizon (CDMA) and AT&T (GSM). Some reports have also confirmed that there will also be a white iPhone 5, along with other stunning new features.

Activities, as far as the manufacturing side is concerned, are on-going 24/7.  Stiff competition triggers companies to update their bets every now and then. Despite dealing with sensitive issues like violating several local laws in Korea, the sneaky iOS 4 secretly recording everywhere you go and under scrutiny due to questionable behavior, Apple’s earnings remain strong and opening the week with a 2.4% jump according to stock market news.  iPhone sales have reached skyrocketing figures that positively affected Silicon Valley members. Another upgrade comes with the introduction of Intuit’s GoPayment, a mobile payment processing app for iPad. WeeWorld also has just released its latest iPad app that runs within the HTML 5 platform.

Apple’s rival, RIM’s PlayBook, has also harnessed rave reviews and rises above expectations with 50,000 units sales in its opening day. While the numbers still trail iPad’s 300,000, PlayBook surpassed any Android tablets launch figures. PlayBook, similar with its sister Blackberry is a businessperson’s best companion.

The tablet faction is gunning to be a $49 billion dollar market really soon. Apple is becoming a huge part of this quest as the nostalgia over their gadgets grow each day with each upgrade.
