This Week’s Best iPad, Android Tablet Business Apps: Syncplicity Tops the List

Syncplicity’s recent launch on Android and Amazon’s highly-anticipated  Kindle Fire tops this week’s roundup. The file sync and management app introduces the bulk of the features available on iOS to Google’s rivaling operating system, as well as a number of different features of great use to business users.

Syncplicity had some big news this month, expanding the company’s reach to whole new market. The cloud file management platform is now available to Android tablet holders, including the Kindle Fire. The app itself is free to download from both Amazon and the Android Marketplace, and there is a paid Business Edition available.

 Cloud Print

Cloud Print extends the functionality of the beta Google service Cloud Print with an internal file browser that supports the more popular formats, and adds a number of other elements to the core functionality to make it even more efficient for the on the go document viewer.

iPad

Stay.com

Stay.com for the iPad is a travel planning app with a good number of positive reviews to its name. It gives users the flexibility to craft their own travel guide while leveraging the app’s visual database of location and tourist destinations.

ZP MDM (Zenprise)

Zenprise’s free iPad app can be downloaded for free by users who have access to a corporate Zenprise Device Manager server. They can access their inbox and address book among other things; access intranet services via a VPN and more.

Iron Money

This personal finance management app offers a lot of accessibility, providing a lot functionality to enable you to keep track of recent changes across accounts. It syncs with IronMoney.com, enabling one to instantaneously add transactions to accounts from particularly anywhere (or do so offline and send the data when reaching the nearest hotspot).
