The Biggest IT Challenges of 2011: Infographic

The job of an IT admin is a sundry string of tasks, managing enterprise networks, protecting employee devices, monitoring applications and weighing the pros and cons of an imposing cloud industry.  The biggest challenge for today’s IT admin is maintaining network uptime, according to a recent report from Ipswitch. Surveying a portion of its 100,000 global client base, Ipswitch’s Network Management Division looks at the top concerns for the IT industry in 2011, from running apps in the cloud to switching over to IPv6.  Below is an infographic that highlights the survey findings, and offers some insight for areas to pay attention to as we head into 2012.
