TOTAL for iPad Tops Weekly Business Tablet App List

Tablets and app developers have found their way into a variety of industries that make use of the advantages that come with mobile and remote functionality. One of those segments is real-estate, where the iPad in particular has made itself a reputation thanks to a number of apps. This week’s roundup features one of those applications.

TOTAL is a part organization and part field reporting app for an appraiser that allows real-estate professionals to easily fill full inspection forms on-site, take pictures of a property and sync important files via the developer’s cloud.

 Progression LIVE

Progression LIVE is an app dedicated to optimizing the time of mobile workers. Activity can be viewed from a web-based dashboard, detailed reports can be sent out on a regular basis to specific employees and location-based decisions can be made. The app includes GPS tracking and what can be called geographical customer service assurance.

TD Ameritrade Mobile

TD Ameritrade is an iPad investor’s client for users of the company’s web-based portal. It provides access to quotes, charts, specific market updates and other data that may prove to be essential to one’s investments on the go.

Android

TouchDown

TouchDown Key is an Android client for Exchange servers. It supports company email, contacts, calendar and all the other functionalities of Microsoft’s software, all packed in a productivity -oriented interface. Exchange features a long list of other additions as well, such as a lot of customization options and separation of personal data from corporate data.

Monster

The popular job site’s Android clients makes the website’s features more accessible to mobile job seekers. It uses location tracking in order to search for local openings in addition to Foursquare and Gowalla support; provides a number of sharing options and supports QR codes.
