Hovernote Tops this Week’s Tablet Business App Roundup

Hovernote for Android tablets is the app that made it to the title because of the fact that, thanks to some practical thinking on behalf of the developer, the note-taking tool seems to “get” productivity.  The application runs in the background and the use can access it by just tapping a hotkey or button, rather than having to tab out and open the app each time.

Hovernote

Hovernote by mjlim addresses user demands by floating in the background and opening up a note tab whenever the device holder wants – whether they’re browsing the web or using another application. Notes can be written and text files can be opened and saved natively.

Nextcall

Nextcall can be considered an analytics app in some regards. It tracks your call history and displays the last time you rang a certain contact, such a client. All in all it has the potential of proving handy in a variety of situations.

The Merck Manual

The Merck Manual is a pricey, yet very valuable asset for healthcare professionals.  Designed after the popular book published regularly by the pharma company, the content that the app offers can come handy for both med students and more importantly doctors who need to identify a symptom fast.

Expense Tablet

Expense Tablet is a neat expense tracker that tries to make things easier by allowing you to organize spending by time and category, and then visualizing key data to simplify things even further. The UI is definitely one of the biggest selling points.

EZTip Calculators Pro

EZTip can supplement Expense Tablet to some extent. The tip calculator does as promised and quickly calculates the amount the tip percentage adds up to based on the size of the bill; it’s possible to exclude tax as well.
