Apple unveiled the highly anticipated iPad mini at a special event yesterday, confirming weeks of rumors, including our expected price tag of $329.  It’s a timely release for Apple, as the 7.9-inch tablet goes up against Amazon’s Kindle Fire, Google’s Nexus 7 and Samsung’s growing line of phablets, including the recently launched Galaxy Note S II.  Here to discuss Apple’s iPad mini, along with the 4th generation iPad and other devices launched at yesterday’s event is SiliconAngle News Desk Editor Kristen Nicole, who dropped in for this morning’s NewsDesk segment with Kristin Feledy.
