Nimble Lands on CRM Watchlist for 3rd Year in a Row

Nimble is among the vendors named market leaders in CRM Watchlist 2013. This year’s edition of the annual study by Paul Greenberg, the president of The 56 Group, surveyed 153 CRM vendors and selected the top 33 on the list.

“We are incredibly honored that Nimble was selected for a third consecutive CRM Watchlist recognition,” said Jon Ferrara, CEO of Nimble. “The variety of market leaders — from the traditional CRM vendors like Salesforce.com and Microsoft, marketing platforms like Marketo and HubSpot to the social community companies like Jive and Lithium — demonstrate the diversity and opportunity in this ever-expanding sector.”

Nimble offers customer relation management software that makes it easier for SMBs to manage leads. The company’s flagship product couples a simplified interface with social media integration, making it one of the more user-friendly CRM systems on the market.

Integration is the heart of the platform – Nimble’s software syncs not only with Facebook and Twitter but also with several widely-used business services. The list includes MailChimp and Freshdesk.  HootSuite is the most recent addition to the company’s app directory. HootSuite is a cloud-based dashboard that allows the user to manage their entire social presence from one place, and quantify consumer interaction across all major networks.

Nimble, which claims to have over 1000 SMB clients, is not the only vendor on the CRM Watchlist to have seen tremendous growth in the past 12 months.  SAP is much higher on the list, a development that aligns well with its exceptional financial performance in the fourth quarter of 2012.  The company’s cloud revenue doubled from 2011, and its presence in mobile and analytics also grew, thanks to accelerating adoption of HANA and increased demand for Sybase solutions.
