HP Helps 24 Care Makers Eliminate Harmful Substances

HP will host the International Material Data System (IMDS) for the next five years, helping 34 of the world’s leading car manufacturers eliminate harmful substances from the automotive supply chain. IMDS is a shared service that allows more than 100,000 companies in the vehicle supply chain meet regulations on hazardous substances. It supplies more than 40 million data sheets that list the details of every substance involved in the manufacturer of all components, helping to prevent the use of heavy metals and ensuring that reportable substances are declared for recycling. Brady Corp. to Use HP Global Product Authentication to Combat Counterfeiting

Brady Corp, a leader in development of identification systems worldwide, is working with HP to develop a one-stop resource for product tracking and authentication to help companies protect their brand. Brady is the first authorized reseller of the HP Global Product Authentication Service (HP GPAS), a flexible, cloud-based system that enables clients to identify, locate, and combat counterfeit activities.
