Valentine’s Day 2013: Geeky Gifts, iPhone Apps and Dating with Data

Valentine’s Day is upon us and many of you, hopefully, have already made plans.  But for those of you who haven’t, you still have today to pull off a miracle Valentine date.

If you haven’t figured out what to get your significant other, here are some cool, geeky Valentine gift ideas to consider: Geeky Gifts For <3 Day.

But if you’re in that stage of a relationship wherein you’re both saving up for the future but can’t seem to get a handle on things, this might help you get started on the right track: iPhone Apps to Avoid Costly Lovers Quarrels this Valentine’s Day.

I’m sure your partner would appreciate the suggestions, making you appear more mature  and serious about the relationship.  There’s nothing worse than fighting over money on Valentine’s Day.

Also, if you and your partner are miles away and you, or both of you, plan on sending each other racy photos or videos, remember to think about this very carefully.  I’m not saying that your relationship would end in the future, but in case you broke up, do you really want your ex to have nude photos of you that they can use to blackmail or exploit you?  To find out more about the hazards of sending intimate digital footprints, check out: We Know All About Your Love Life. It’s In the Cloud.

And finally, if you still haven’t found “the one” to spend the rest of your life with, and you’re losing all hope of ever finding the love of your life or just anyone willing to put up with your craziness or laziness, maybe Big Data could help you in your quest.  Checkout Looking For Love With Big Data.

Not many are fond of celebrating Hearts’ Day, calling it a marketing ploy for brands to get people crazy and spend more than what they really should.  Besides, showing your partner how much you love him/her shouldn’t just be done during one particular day, you should make your partner feel special whenever you can, everyday, if possible.
