Live from Oracle OpenWorld : Exclusive Interviews + Analysis @ theCUBE

Oracle CEO Larry Ellison revealed some key details regarding his company’s plans to enhance cloud offerings during last night’s keynote from the annual OpenWorld conference, kicking off four days of festivities around Oracle’s fresh future.  Setting the stage for Oracle’s position in an industry-wide transition to IaaS laced with cloud-driven solutions, Ellison unveiled the lofty goals behind his In-Memory option for 12c Database, one of several ways Oracle hopes to make good on its 2010 acquisition of Sun Microsystems (read our earlier coverage here).

Ellison’s keynote addresses one of the looming questions we’ll be exploring during our live coverage of Oracle OpenWorld, as we broadcast from the event floor at theCUBE (beginning 10am PST Monday-Wednesday).  As Oracle combines its hardware and software efforts for a complete stack offering, the world wonders how and when the Sun acquisition will pay off for Oracle, and what its strategy needs to be moving forward.  At theCUBE, we’ll hear from customers, Oracle executives and industry leaders, providing the insight you need to make the right decisions for your organization.
