Springpad Declutters Bookmarks + Boards with New Update

Springpad recently revamped its look, improving already great aesthetics for Apple’s iOS 7.  With the new look came the ability to format Springs on any device, syncing, and save and share.

But Springpad is far from being done with the transition, with a few new updates released today.

Springpad promises a distraction-free experience by eliminating clutter and streamlining features.

“All that noise and distraction in your life, we put a silencer on it when you’re in Springpad notebooks. Like our new Notes, we gave you a simpler workspace that hides all the distractions, so you can stay focused and get things done,” Springpad stated on its blog.

Here’s a recap of what’s new on Springpad:

What’s new on Springpad

.

Search and Filter all in one place

Everything you need on Springpad is now all in one place.  Search, Filter, and Advance Filter is centrally located, so searching for anything is now easier.

.

Display, Sort and Bulk Edit

In the essence of streamlining, Pinterest has also combined Display, Sort and Bulk Edit in one place so you can choose all your notebook view settings in one place.  The Bulk Edit feature allows you to make changes across multiple Springs at once, and you can find the improved edit box and cleaner menus in the Sort menu.

.

Revealing Options

Actions such as Settings, Collaboration and Sharing have been moved to the top of Springs, so it is easier to make changes. Spring descriptions and tags are also visible at the top, and you have the option to show or hide those details.  This makes it easier for you to choose the type of view that suits you.

.

More room to spread out

The Board has also been redesigned to make it spacious, leaving more room for you to brainstorm and plan.  The result is a fresh prioritization on your items, with Springpad fulfilling its mission to have your stuff front and center, clutter-free, and more accessible.

More changes are expected to come as Springpad makes your Springs more useful.
