When will you die? Tikker helps you take on the Grim Reaper

This week’s Quantified Self roundup features a watch that counts your remaining years of existence, a scale to weigh your sleep, and a web app that connects all your wearable tech gadgets.

Tikker

Ever wonder how long you have until you’re six feet under, or your ashes are trapped in an urn?  Wouldn’t it be great to know when your time is up?  For some people it is, as it gives them the freedom to do what they want, make amends, or just be the best person you can be before it all ends.  No one can really tell you exactly when your life will end, but thanks to a newly funded Kickstarter project, you can get a visual of how much expected time you have left.

Tikker is not an exact science, it doesn’t really tell you when you’ll die. But it can make some estimates based on your lifestyle.  To set it up, you have to fill out a questionnaire, deduct your current age from the results you get on the questionnaire, and input that number on Tikker to start the countdown.

By seeing the numbers on a little screen, Tikker aims to help you change your perspective in life.  Instead of wallowing on the things you don’t have, why not cherish the things you do have while you are still alive?

And to add insult to injury, Tikker also gives you the current time.

Bedscales

People who constantly weigh themselves have to deal with wondering why their weight changes in a matter of hours, so there’s no way of telling what their real weight is.  But with Bedscales, people will get their weight while they sleep, as well as know what keeps them up all night.

The Bedscales system includes pressure plates, which you put under the legs of your bed, which syncs to a device that you plug in and place under you bed.  It records your weight while you sleep, in addition to analyzing the quality of sleep you are having.  If you have a partner, Bedscales can monitor both you and your partner’s weight and sleep quality.

You can check your data on the web or mobile app to view nightly statistics, and quickly change the view from weeks to months.  Over time, you will see the quality of your sleep, as well as effortlessly monitor your weight.

Eracle

If you have too many wearable devices and are now suffering from app fatigue, Eracle may be the answer to your problem.  Eracle is a web app that creates a complete picture of your goals and stats by connecting all your wearable devices and collecting all the data they generate.

You can check your history from all the trackers you are using as well as connect with friends and see how well they are doing.  Aside from that, Eracle also analyzes how music, weather and the places you visit affect your mood in reaching your goals.  And even if you just use your phone and a mobile fitness app to track your progress, Eracle has got you covered.  It is compatible with Fitbit, Nike FuelBand, Jawbone Up, BodyMedia, Garmin, iPod with Nike+, Shine, Runkeeper, MyFitnessPal, Nike+ running apps, Rdio, Spotify, Last.fm, and Foursquare.
