Alone for Halloween? Discount games & apps ward off boredom
Ghouls, ghosts, vampires, zombies, princesses, minions – those are just some of the creatures you’ll be seeing tonight knocking at your door and screaming “trick or treat!” Kids will be bouncing off the wall with all the candy they collect today, but Halloween can also be fun for adults who may want to spend a quiet night alone in the house. To ward off boredom, here are some games and apps going on sale for the Halloween holiday.
Games & Apps on sale for Halloween
Steam
Starting today until November 3, 2014 at 10AM Pacific, Steam is offering huge price cuts on dozens of games for its annual Steam Halloween Sale. It should also be noted that discounted games are those with a scary theme, a perfect offering for Halloween. Take advantage of discounts ranging from 15 percent to a jaw-dropping 85 percent off popular titles such as Escape Dead Island, Sanitarium, Killing Floor and more.

PlayStation Store
Sony Corp.’s Sale of the Dead kicked off last week, discounting games, movies and TV shows appropriate for this spooky holiday.
