Twitter Co-founder Jack Dorsey NEWS

Jack Dorsey goes crowd storming with epic tweet stream #Twitter #CrowdChat

Twitter Co-founder Jack Dorsey

Jack Dorsey, one of the founders of Twitter, went on an awesome Twitter broadcast today to the crowd. He was making a statement on status of Twitter as a company.  More impressive was his conviction for the company’s mission and contribution the management team is delivering.  I believe that the team has it right with the concentric circles and the long term play.

Jack Dorsey’s Twitter broadcast is very good and worth a read.

Broadcast vs Engagement

I love what Jack did here.  It’s a broadcast and shows the power of Twitter.  Applications like CrowdChat (crowdchat.net) take broadcast and turn it into engagement.   Here is a great example of a crowd storming application where the conversation is recorded in a threaded manner to capture the in the moment broadcast and turn it into a crowd conversation.  In the future “Joining the Conversation” will be about the engagement not just the broadcast.
