Where to stream the Super Bowl XLIX online

University of Phoenix Stadium

Super Bowl XLIX, one of the biggest sports events in the world, will kick off on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the University of Phoenix Stadium with a game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots. Which team colors will fly high in this year’s NFL championship game?

Though most of us would love to be at the game to cheer for our favorite team, as well as watch the half-time show in person, not everyone is lucky enough to score tickets. You can always watch the game at home, but for those fans who don’t have a traditional TV nearby or want to watch the game on multiple devices, don’t worry! You can watch the game online via your mobile device or your computer. Or you can even stream it to your TV.

NFL Game Pass

Why get stuck watching the game only on one device when you can watch it on whatever device you like with the NFL Game Pass? The NFL Game Pass is the Super Bowl’s official all-access, subscription-based pass for football fans. The Game Pass offers two pricing options: the Season Plus, which runs through July 31, 2015, for $39.99, and the Super Bowl pass, which costs $9.99 and gives you access to games until February 11, 2015.

You can access the NFL Game Pass on your Xbox One, Xbox 360, iOS, Windows and Android devices, plus get offline access to downloaded games and view games between 2009 to 2013, among others benefits.

NBC Sports Live Extra

You can watch the game for free on your tablet or computer with the NBC Sports Live Extra app. The live stream kicks off at 12 p.m. ET for NBC’s pregame coverage and will be followed by a new episode of The Blacklist after the game at 10 p.m. ET.

The app is available for Android, iPad and Windows 8.1 as well as on the web.

Verizon smartphones

If you are a Verizon Communications Inc. subscriber, you can watch the game on your smartphone with Verizon’s NFL Mobile app. The app is free to download and use, but you need to be a Verizon subscriber to access it.

The app is available for iOS, Android, BlackBerry 10 and Windows Phone.
