Sling TV plus AMC equals the death of cable television
You’re still spending over $70 a month for cable television? I don’t understand. Why would you do that? You can’t be worried about missing out on sports programming. We’ve already been over that. You can watch all the important games on ESPN and ESPN2 for only $20 a month with Dish Network’s Sling TV. In addition to the sports channels, you’ll also get the Disney Channel, ABC Family, Food Network, HGTV, Travel Channel, TNT, CNN, TBS, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim. Is that enough to convince you to cut the cord? If not, Dish Network announced today that it’s going to sweeten the pie. Sling TV’s $20 per month core package now includes AMC.
Cord cutters won’t have to do without must-watch-tv shows like Mad Men, Better Call Saul, and the Walking Dead. AMC programming consistently breaks cable television viewership records. They produce the types of shows that cable subscribers might refuse to leave behind. Now that Sling TV is offering AMC, it’s going to be hard to justify spending so much money every month for cable when you can get such a phenomenal lineup for only $20. The service will be updated to include AMC in the very near future. Additional channels, including BBC America, BBC World News, IFC, Sundance TV, and WeTV, will be added sometime after that.
If you’re sold on Sling TV, I have more good news for you. As of today, Dish Network has done away with the waiting list. You won’t have to wait for an invitation to sign up and enjoy the new internet television experience. Sling TV is live and available for all U.S. based cable ditchers. You can test it out risk free. There’s no commitment, and if you sign up right now, you can try it free for a week. There’s really only one question left to answer. What are you going to buy with the extra $50 every month?
