youPass now lets you share contact details from your Apple Watch

Think You Inc. has announced that youPass, an app that up until now has only been available for iOS users, will be coming to Apple Watch and Android.

“With youPass on two new platforms we are now reaching a larger audience and sharing contact information in new and unique ways,” said Mike Juliano, CEO and Founder of Think You, “We’re incredibly excited to welcome Android users for the first time and explore a whole new dimension of interaction with Apple Watch.”

By simply scanning another person’s QR code on the app’s screen, the youPass app allows you to seamlessly share phone numbers, emails, website addresses and social media accounts – now this will all be possible directly from your wrist. The app also allows you to send a personalized vCard containing your contact details that you can personalize prior to sending. There is also an option to send a link to anyone with a mobile device regardless of whether they have youPass app installed or not.

To share your contact details from your Apple Watch, simply tap the youPass icon and then Force Touch the opening screen. You will then be able to generate a QR code, which another person can scan, or you will have the option to include a new link to your own information card.

Sharing contact information on the Android version of the app works similarly to the iOS version.

There have also been significant updates to version 2.4 of youPass to streamline the user experience by bringing the core functions of scan, share and connect to the forefront of the user interface making them accessible with simple swipes. The latest version also adds additional ways for users to connect, including social networks, video communication platforms and messenger apps, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Vine, Skype, YouTube, SoundCloud and more.

Download the Android or iOS version now to start seamlessly sharing your contact details.
