iPhone rumors

Design

According to previous reports, Apple will release 4.5-inch and 5.5-inch versions, which have been dubbed as the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. They are expected to sport the same design as the previous models. The iPhone 6s will aesthetically be identical to the iPhone 6 in almost every aspect from the Lightning port, speaker and mic location, headphone jack, volume rocker, mute button, sleep/wake button, SIM card slot and antenna lines. And even the cutouts for the rear camera and LED flash will remain the same.

New hardware components

New reports state that the next iPhones will feature an upgraded NFC chip that has a secure element processor, a 2GB RAM, a new A9 processor, improved Touch ID, 12MP iSight camera and FaceTime camera with 1080p video capture.

Software improvements

The next iPhones will ship running iOS 9 out of the box, which come with new features such as a Low Power mode that is said to add three hours of extra battery life to the device, smaller updates, stronger security, and the ability to delete and reinstall apps to make room for updates, to name just some of the software improvements.
