Where to watch Samsung’s Unpacked Event live online
Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is all set for its Unpacked event on August 13, 2015. The question is, are you ready for the big reveal?
It has been months since Samsung launched it flagship devices, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, and after dismal sales for the S6, the world is anxious to see what the South Korean giant has been cooking up these past few months. Adding to the hype, Samsung has spent the summer teasing the public with a cryptic landing page for today’s Unpacked event, and plenty of expectations from the rumor mill.
What to expect
Samsung could be revealing four devices at the event: Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6+, and the Galaxy S6 mini. Leaks suggest that the Note 5 will feature a 5.66-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, Samsung’s own octa-core Exynos 7420 processor – four cores at 2.1GHz and four cores at 1.5GHz – with 4GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and no microSD card reader, 16MP rear camera and 5MP front camera.
As for the S6 edge+, the device is said to be a supersized version of the original S6 Edge and will feature a 5.67-inch super AMOLED with QHD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 processor, a 16MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, non-removable 3,000 mAh battery, and run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and no microSD card reader.
The other two devices, the S6+ and S6 mini are rumored to be a bigger and smaller version of the original Galaxy S6 and will practically have the same features.
