Enabling enterprise collaboration on a global and social level | #CCL2015

Today, Apple will reveal its latest smartphone at an event in San Francisco. But those cool iPhone apps wouldn’t function without infrastructure networking and companies such as T5 Data Centers, LLC, which provides enterprise-grade data center management.

“These are the technologies that enable companies to stay in business and evolve,” said Craig McKesson, EVP of colocation and cloud solutions for T5 Data Centers.

McKesson joined Jeff Frick and John Furrier, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, at Console Connect Live to discuss the role of the data center and the way enterprise customers are buying IT.

“These companies are looking for smaller deployments and an ability to deploy in a hybrid environment,” McKesson said. “Companies such as T5 allow customers to act on strategies that will make them successful.” Companies such as Console, a new SaaS platform with the emergence of cloud technology.

An on-demand culture

“In an on-demand culture, instead of paying for dedicated hardware, technologies such as Console allow users to connect directly, enabling enterprise collaboration on a global and social level,” said McKesson.

As customers look for more efficient platforms and reliable infrastructure, the data center serves an important role. “We give the enterprise an opportunity to create a hybrid environment,” said McKesson. “We aim to give them the security, trust and reliability needed to enable future business needs.”
