Will Console Connect re-engineer the Internet? | #CCL2015

“This is important. It is change at the root level,” said John Furrier, founder of SiliconANGLE and cohost of theCUBE.

John Furrier and Jeff Frick, cohosts of theCUBE, from the SiliconANGLE Media team, kicked off theCUBE’s coverage of Console Connect LIVE 2015 at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco, where newly formed Console, Inc. is unveiling its revolutionary new SaaS platform and Console Partner Program.

Extracting the signal from the noise

Noting the lack of press at an event he described as “marking the shift to re-engineering the Internet,” Furrier was excited about theCUBE beating the crowds to report this ground-breaking development in infrastructure networking.

According to Frick, Console Connect reliably delivers enterprise-class service, addressing core problems, such as reducing the attack surface, encountered due to an Internet that was not built to handle the new model case demands.

A whole new Internet

Referring to theCUBE’s recent coverage at VMworld 2015, Furrier pointed to VMware, Inc.’s Unified Hybrid Cloud as an example of why enterprise requires a “whole new Internet.”

Resiliency and agility are key components of Console Connect, and it provides a “new ecosystem of interconnections,” said Furrier. “APIification is the trend, but it opens a security hole. DevOps needs Console Connect.”

Introducing the line-up of guests on theCUBE today, Furrier referred to them as, “the California Geeks; the network guys that know what makes stuff work at the lowest level.” Both Furrier and Frick look forward to an informative, lively day of discussions.
