The CAST system will turn any screen whether a TV, video projector, camera, computer or mobile, into an entertainment device. The more displays that you add means that you will have to add more HDMI sticks.

You can then sit on the digital sofa with your friends and enjoy sports, movies, TV series or a game or two. With access to over 1000 channels, you can use your smartphone to quickly add content to any of your displays. Quickly invite friends to start enjoying your selected entertainment.

Discussing the latest developments on a TV show doesn’t have to wait till the end. Chatting is ongoing with live video chat, text messages and even the ability to share photos with your friends and family.

Your night’s entertainment, a live feed of your friend’s faces via their cameras, as well as your ongoing chats with them, are all integrated on your device, ensuring you never miss a moment of entertainment.

During the Kickstarter campaign, you can get your own CAST Box for $99, saving you $200 on the expected retail price of $299. For this deal, you will be required to get your own Wi-Fi camera and ChromeCAST compatible HDMI stick.

Alternatively, you can get the CAST Hub, which includes the CAST Box, CAST Camera and CAST HDMI stick, for $199, a saving of $200 on the expected retail price of $399.

CAST is expected to start shipping in September 2016.
