Now we know where, when, and how to buy Microsoft’s first Windows 10 phones

One of Microsoft’s two Lumia flagship phones will go on sale November 20th, and as we first thought, it will be with AT&T. The phone is the Lumia 950, which is a bit smaller than, and not quite as powerful as its big brother, the Lumia 950XL.

Without a contract AT&T have set the price at $600, and with a two year contract $149.99. AT&T is also offering Next plans, in which customers can pay in installments over 30, 24 or 20 months. Respectively, $19.97, $24.96, $29.95. If you so desire, you can pick up a Surface 3 for $399 ($100 price drop) if you go for the two year contract. Customers can preorder today. The Lumia 950XL will go on sale a little later on November 25th, except you will only be able to buy it at the Microsoft Store. This is also available to preorder today.

What are the selling points? Well, it’s the first ever Windows 10 phone, which is special. Whether its $600 special is up to you to decide: The phones both feature Windows Hello, Microsoft’s answer to biometric iris-scanning sign-in. Redmond is also marketing the phones as little PCs, given that using Continuum along with the Microsoft Display Dock (not included in price) you can use your phone with a monitor, keyboard and mouse.

As for the devices’ specs, both have a QuadHD display, which is 5.2 inches for the 950 and 5.7 inches for the 950XL. Both phones also have 32 GB of storage (a microSD card can push that up to 200 GB) and 3 GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel camera and wireless charging. The Lumia 950 packs a Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, while the 950 XL has a little more power with the Ota-core 810.
