The day has finally arrived for people to cast their vote for the U.S. president, not to mention candidates for the Senate, the House and a raft of state and local elections.

To ensure you don’t miss out on any election coverage today, here’s a look at the various ways — besides an actual television — that you can follow the results, including iOS and Android apps, Facebook Live, YouTube, Twitter and more. You can also get a discounted or free ride to your polling station.

Watch election results live

On iOS, Android, Apple TV and more

Google will place real-time election results directly into search results starting when polls close.

CNN Digital will run its live election coverage from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Eastern on its website as well as its iOS and Android mobile apps. It will provide real-time results and exit polls for presidential, Senate, House and gubernatorial races.  

CBSN will start its election day coverage at 6 a.m. Eastern today. Its election coverage is available on CBSNews.com/live, mobile and connected-TV devices including Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

If you don’t have cable, but don’t want to miss out on any of the election coverage you can also sign up for a Sling TV or PlayStation Vue subscription giving you access to major networks, including CNN, MSNBC, NBC and Fox. Both companies offer a seven-day free trial allowing you to enjoy the election coverage at no cost.

YouTube

Starting at 7 p.m. Eastern, YouTube will live stream the results from various news channels. These include NBC News, PBS, MTV, Bloomberg, Telemundo and The Young Turks. YouTube also is running some voting reminder public service announcements (like the one above) as part of its #voteIRL get-out-the-vote campaign.

Twitter

Previously Twitter Inc. hooked up with Bloomberg L.P. to live stream the presidential debates. For election night, however, Twitter has signed a deal with Buzzfeed to live stream election results, analysis and videos.

To watch the coverage, head to the Moments tab in the Twitter app on election day. In September Twitter launched a live video app for Apple TV, Xbox One, or Amazon Fire TV allowing you to watch the election results on your TV.

Facebook

The Washington Post will bring live election coverage, latest results and updates from reporters at the Clinton and Trump headquarters on Facebook Live. The Facebook Live broadcast starts at 7 p.m. Eastern. Click the “Get Reminder” button to ensure you don’t miss out on the coverage.  

ABC News has partnered with Facebook Inc. to offer users election day coverage, including live streams from key polling stations and candidate election parties. ABC News will also report on election results starting from 7 p.m Eastern at “Times Square Crossroads,” Facebook’s live interactive booth in Times Square.

On its CNN and CNN Politics Facebook pages, the company will offer hourly Facebook Live broadcasts starting from 9 a.m. Eastern.

The New York Times will provide continuous live stream election coverage on its Facebook page starting at 4:30 p.m. Eastern. Coverage will also include worldwide reactions to the election results from a handful of countries.

Listen to live election results

If you are unable to watch the election results you can listen to them via National Public Radio. You can listen to NPR’s election coverage on its website on either your computer or smartphone. NPR’s election night broadcast starts at 8 p.m. Eastern.

Chat with the presidential candidates (sort of)

FutureStates gives you the opportunity to chat to the presidential candidates — sort of. Using conversational interfaces and AI, FutureStates’ candidate chatbots gives users access to insights from speeches, interviews, videos and social media. You can chat to the candidate chatbots on the FutureStates website or on Facebook Messenger.

Discounted rides to polling stations

To help more voters get to the polling stations on Tuesday, Lyft Inc., Uber Technologies Inc. and Zipcar Inc. are offering discounted rates.

Lyft will offer a 45 percent discount on a single ride between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. The discount will be offered in 20 markets, including Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Miami, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, New York City, Washington DC, Orange County, California; Nashville, Tennessee, Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Portland, Oregon. The offer is available for new and existing Lyft users.

Uber has teamed up with Google Inc. to offer an in-app feature today that will allow users to find their polling location. Once the location is found, users can then request an Uber to take them there. For first-time Uber users, the company is offering a $20 discount off their first ride with promotion code “VOTETODAY.”

Zipcar is focusing on last-minute voters and will offer 7,000 of its vehicles free to its members during 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The Zipcar offer will be available in all markets where the company operates.
