Reltio boosts third-party integration with master data management service

Reltio Inc., a platform-as-a-service company that provides master data management services for disparate data sources, has announced the newest iteration of its cloud data management platform.

The new version features integration with SnapLogic Inc.’s application program interface manager and improved integration with Dun & Bradstreet Corp. data.

Master data management is a technique for defining a common set of processes, governance, policies, standards and tools for managing important data. Reltio said its cloud-based service supports both structured and unstructured data at any volume and scale, blends and relates multi-domain data into a single view and handles complex connections, hierarchies and relationships between multiple domains using graph technology.

The company’s data-as-a-service platform enables data sets from third party providers to be integrated in real time with internal business data. “Customers come to us because they have a lot of disjointed information,” said Anastasia Zamyshlyaeva, vice president of platform product management at Reltio. “We de-dupe data, normalize it properly and load it into a data warehouse.”

Reltio says its cloud service is managing hundreds of terabytes of enterprise data spanning billions of multi-domain entities and relationships in a polygot storage canvas that encompasses Apache Cassandra, Apache Spark, graph stores, Elasticsearch and other technologies. It exposes this data to customers through APIs, and says it handles tens of millions of real-time API calls each day. High availability and built-in disaster recovery ensures 99.95 percent availability.

Reltio Cloud 2017.1 embeds the SnapLogic Enterprise Integration Cloud into the Reltio Cloud to give companies an easier way to load and synchronize data to and from Reltio. SnapLogic is one of the hot new breed of data integration vendors. The new partnership with D&B folds in data from the business information service to create a more complete view of customers. Dun & Bradstreet integration complements an already broad range of relationships that Reltio has with third-party data providers.

New global enablement capabilities for multi-country implementations in this version include the ability perform dependent lookups based upon multiple attributes. For example, customers can specify a combination of a country code and organization type to constrain a results list to certain organization sub-types, such as a limited partnership. Dynamic operational values — or data that is of most immediate importance — can be configured based up on end-user profiles of different countries and from different departments.

Reltio Cloud 2017.1 also includes enhanced workflow and task management, through a new personalized portal. Users can manage assigned tasks, reassign tasks within and across teams and flag overdue tasks. “You can have different canonical values depending not only on the country, but also on the goals inside your organization,” Zamyshlyaeva said. “It can provide priorities for different sources or prospects.”

The company did not specify pricing.
