Flowdock: The Node.js Angle – Group Messaging and Activity Streams – Soon with Twitter

We’re live with theCube here at NodeSummit where I caught up with Flowdock’s Founder and CEO Otto Hillska.

Flowdock is a communications tools for developers that combines group messaging with data from third party services such as Github, bug tracers, Jira and email.

Node.js Angle: Flowdock has always been Javascript focused because it is running on the client side. They have just started using Node.js for real-time integration. Twitter and other services will be added to the service.

Hillska:

POV

Developers are using Node.js as a component of their service, experimenting and in the process, extending its use.
