After a few hours, I started to view it a bit differently... You know how when you have this girlfriend, and you know in your heart that she's not 'the one'? Then she breaks up with you? Well, of course, it stings a bit initially to be rejected... but after a bit, you realize that you're better off without her and you managed to get out of it without being the asshole. That's what it feels like to be a Tennessee fan right now. I work at a Knoxville TV station, so I had sat coverage of CLK's SC press conference... Let me tell you, we were howling with laughter when he got the question about Coach O's 'reaching out' to our early commits. So, after a few days of reflection, I would sincerely like to thank USC's AD for taking this guy off our hands. Nothing but trouble in his future, and I'm very happy that it will be happening somewhere else. To those of you that are concerned about the hire, I can only say I'm sorry in advance... but Monte sure can coach the hell out of some D...
