Appolicious already provides resources for iPhone and iPad users to discover apps for those platforms have decided to diversify further into the app market by adding the Android and Yahoo! platforms. They write over at the Appolicious Adviser,

Appolicious features including Curated Lists, the app Library Builder and the ability to rate and write reviews for individual apps are all available on AndroidApps.com and yap.appolicious.com. As well, each member of the Appolicious family of sites will publish several professionally written reviews, compilations and lists related to each platform.
While Android devices already have their own access to app repositories, the addition of Appolicious’s library also supplies its own Android app allowing users of that platform to surf it directly. The launch of these two sites also represents a commingling of resources between Yahoo! and Appolicious, which users of Yahoo! will find beneficial as they’ll be exposed to articles and professionally written reviews of the apps that they’ll gain access to.
With the number of devices flooding the market enabled for Android and the availability of apps increasing exponentially, users are inundated with products. Like everything, apps have both the good, the bad, and the ugly. Recommendation tools and cross-platform search (like that provided by Appolicious) bridge the gap between consumers, providers, and reviewers. In fact, the highly social atmosphere of mobile devices is already giving rise to social marketing sites like AndSpot. Further, while app interfaces themselves on devices are useful for capturing an app on the fly, some users—like myself—happen to like to be able to sit down and research a new app thoroughly before committing to it and having a web site to visit enables that nicely.
