Virtual World Makes Room for Anime Revolution, Social Mobile Gaming Still the Target
The virtual world’s horizon seems limitless and freely opens its doors to anything out there, especially within the mobile realm. Just recently, the iPhone family welcomed Domo via a leading social engagement company, WeeWorld. TinierMe, on the other hand, introduces its new campaign featuring the hit anime Hetalia: Axis Powers.
It is clear that Japanese social gaming has gradually been intruding onto the US soil and is now influencing the market. TinierMe in fact has been building virtual economies around US anime culture. WeeWorld, perhaps has been resurrected since it started reliance with Akamai Cloud Tools. At press time, virtual worlds utilize the cloud, manage big data and create an economy around virtualized activity.
The two big names have spoken of the spur in popularity of these Anime’. Two spokesmen from the companies gave their juicy take regarding these invasions.
Chief Operating Officer (TinierMe), Masaru Ohnogi, how excited the organization is with the launch. He said, “TinierMe has seen continued success with Japanese pop culture partnerships and our fans are looking forward to seeing more of their favorite manga and anime characters. As a result, we’re excited to bring Hetalia: Axis Powers characters to our online world and hope to bring more popular brands in the near future.”
Even Maryyanek, CMO of Big Tent Entertainment, licensor of Domo gives details on how WeeWold is instrumental to the games success. “The initial Domo campaign on WeeWorld’s popular social gaming site, WeeWorld.com, was such a success that we wanted to carry that viral momentum into the mobile arena as well. WeeWorld helped us reach and, more importantly, engage its expansive teen audience by creating virtual assets that really spoke to our fans. We expect the new mobile assets will lead to similar success in the iPhone community.”
Social gaming has been strongly dominating mobile phones and its usage. This realm is already being exploited by various companies. VISA just awarded PlaySPan with $190 million. Virtual Goods, another platform amidst mobile sector gaming sector are truly promising and are expected to turn up high revenue.
