This week’s top five business apps for tablet users include productivity apps, a web browser, and a security suite – and Cube Time & Expense Tracker, the first app in our roundup got the spotlight. The app’s title covers its core functionality, though the developers went much further than that to deliver more features, thanks to deep integration and other elements. It was featured as Forbes’ “Must-Have iPad Apps For Professionals.”

One of the biggest advantages this app delivers is integration with Google, Google Apps, Yahoo and AOL, so that users don’t have to sign in separately for each service. In order to use it you have to subscribe to the developer’s cloud sync service, but that does have its benefits: online backup. That comes in addition to a whole host of time tracking and management features, including expense tracking, a lot of customization and more.
MobileIron is an enterprise security management app for the iPad that lets admins manage the security settings and status of the devices connected to the company network. Devices can be blocked and tracked, network activity is displayed based on timeline and there are a number of other functionalities as well.
MyCRM is a free mobile CRM system that bundles up a lot of the standard features one would expect in a tablet-optimized desktop designed for users on the go.
Android
Opera has been in the browser business for a long time, and the Honeycomb version quickly picked up in popularity. It delivers most of the features and options available with the desktop version, with the same familiar, and customizable, UI.
This third party keyboard app has an interesting angle on increasing productivity: alongside customization options, it features an AI that analyzes your social data to boost typing.
