QLogic Preps for Q4 Earnings, Expects Positive Performance

Network infrastructure provider QLogic plans to release its fourth quarter and 2012 fiscal year results after the market closes on May 3. Shortly before the third quarter earnings call back in January, Dell purchased QLogic’s InfineBand product line.  The deal was just the beginning of what has been busy few months for QLogic. The company announced a reseller agreement with Fujitsu, expanded their relationship with Dell and was a selected provider of networking components for Hewlett Packard’s Proliant Generation 8 server.

QLogic managed to exceed analysts’ estimates in the third quarter in spite of weak revenue growth.  The company is likely to report a similarly positive performance for 4Q 2012 given the strength of the OEM partnerships QLogic entered in the last quarter. The Q4 2012 earning conference call on will be held on May 3 at 2:00 PM PT. The call will be webcast live; registration is required to participate. QLogic is also offering phone access at (719) 325-2396, pass code: 8542358.
