Over SxSW? Trade Up for Strata, the Big Thing in Data

SxSW keeps a special place in my heart.  But even more thrilling than six months of reminder emails for SxSW registration, is this year’s first Strata event.  Undoubtedly one of the most provocative gatherings in Big Data, Strata attracts the industry’s truly compelling.  The result is a thoughtful and exhaustive exploration of Big Data’s economy, examining the topic from bio-chemical to philosophical perspectives.

Kicking off today, Strata, Santa Clara runs from Feb. 26-28.  We’ll be broadcasting live from Strata with our roving news desk, TheCube, hosting industry leaders and analysts for the entirety of the event.

If you appreciate Big Data as much as I do, you’ll want to follow Strata.

You can catch our live stream right here on SiliconAngle, and here you’ll find a complete Guide to Strata, whether you’re attending the event in person or from afar.

Strata’s been celebrating Big Data for some time, offering some unique vantage points on the history of this economic and cultural revolution.  Read up on last year’s highlights here, and see what we’ll be looking out for during Strata 2013.

Check back regularly for Strata updates, including news, product announcements and exclusive interviews.

Below you’ll find a compilation of TheCube’s programming from one of last year’s Strata events, co-hosted by Hadoop World in NYC.
