2nd Watch and Slalom Consulting Collaborating on AWS Cloud Tech and Services
2nd Watch is combining forces with Slalom Consulting on a number of new cloud initiatives, according a press release. In a briefing with Jeff Aden, Founder and president of 2nd Watch, he shared how the efforts aim to bring forth enterprise solutions, leveraging both company’s strengths in cloud and infrastructure services. 2nd Watch is a Premier Consulting Partner of AWS, with Slalom Consulting an Advanced Consulting Partner of AWS – together they are working to develop one-stop cloud and infrastructure solutions. The services are targeted to deliver a complete suite of IT operations and software development into the enterprise, and utilize the cloud in the architecture.
“We’re excited to partner with 2nd Watch to expand our product and service offerings, and to pool our expertise,” stated Garret Carlson, Director, Alliances at Slalom Consulting. “2nd Watch has earned its abilities as an AWS Premier Consulting Partner, and we’re confident of the value our combined cloud infrastructure solutions will bring to our clients.”
The development can be expected to breed very customer collaborative missions, leaning on the services intensive strategies that Slalom brings, while integrating the range of software, development and cloud experience that 2nd Watch brings. 2nd Watch has been noted for their advanced AWS services and products, such as their Insight product for AWS Billing, and their expert cloud infrastructure services. Slalom Consulting is a nationwide business and consulting firm with practices in a wide range of services and a long list of some of the biggest clients in the business.
“Slalom has built a tremendous reputation for itself in the market, as evidenced by the company’s long-term clients, market growth, and unprecedented employee retention,” noted 2nd Watch Co-founder and President Jeff Aden. “2nd Watch looks forward to continuing to expand our work with Slalom to more fully develop for our clients the industry’s best set of products and services.”
Aden also indicated that more news was on the way as a result of this partnership already. There are more reasons to expect that partnerships on services will continue to emerge as the cloud and next-generation infrastructures graduate from giant enterprise and further on into the adoption phase, where mid-market enterprise presents overwhelming opportunities. We will see a continued and brewing need for infrastructure and services offerings and companies answering that call.
