Most cars on the streets have computer boxes that analyze the vehicle’s condition, often used by mechanics to diagnose car trouble.  Though it may seem like this little device only benefits drivers, Dash Labs has found a way to use a car’s on-board diagnostics system to deliver targeted ads. This way, local businesses can throw you real-time promos as you drive by.

We always losing one thing or another.  Like our house keys, medication box or school notebooks, to name a few.  If only we could call out to these lost items, and they could tell us exactly where they are!  Good thing Tile, the tiny Bluetooth Low Energy device for keeping track of the small, or big items in life, was able to raise $2.6M in funds from 49,586 customers in just 34 days – which simply means that it’s a step closer to being becoming a consumer-ready product, available in the market.  The days of lost items playing hide-and-go-seek may soon be over.
