Your Guide to the 2013 Tableau Consumer Conference | #tcc13

The 2013 Tableau Customer Conference kicked off yesterday at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington, D.C.  The conference aims to deliver “high-octane, fun and data-filled four days of game-changing business intelligence and analytics,” as the event runs through until the 12th.

We’re broadcasting live from the event, streaming exclusive interviews and analysis all day Monday and Tuesday.  Watch theCUBE, live at Tableau’s Customer Conference, right here on SiliconANGLE or on SiliconANGLE.tv.  You can also watch archived clips on our YouTube channel, here.

Speakers

Keynote speakers for the conference include Tableau CEO Christian Chabot, Tableau CDO and Co-founder Chris Stolte, Statistician-forecaster and author Nate Silver, President, CEO, Historian and Author of Steve Jobs Walter Isaacson,  President of Rhode Island School of Design John Maeda, and author Charles Wheelan.

Because this is a customer event, attendees will also be hearing a few words from Tableau customers, such as DataBlick owner Anya A’Hearn, Vice President of IQ Solutions Stephanie Adams, President of AudienceAudit Susan Baier, Tesla Motors Senior Test Engineer Will Bishop, Kobo Director of Product Analytics Talia Borodin, Citrix Sr. Manager of Business Intelligence Brett Duch, and Cloudera Senior Solutions Architect Joey Echeverria, to name a few.

Follow along & party on

Those who were able to get to D.C. yesterday got to attend the Welcome Reception at the Gaylord National Harbor, where participants and visitors mingled with other conference attendees.  The fun’s not yet over though, as there will be a second party held at Newseum from 7-10 PM, where attendees can enjoy six floors of “wow.”

For those who weren’t able to register for the event, registration is now closed, but can still get the latest buzz by following Tableau on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Those interested can also use the hashtag #ttc13 on Twitter to hear what attendees have to say about event.

As always, theCUBE’s frontmen Dave Vellante, Wikibon co-founder and Senior Analyst, and Jeff Kelly, Wikibon Analyst, will be there to cover the event to extract the signal from the noise. If you want to check out their interviews with key people from the industry, you can catch them on SiliconANGLE.tv or catch some of their thoughts on Twitter by following @furrier and @dvellante.  We here at SiliconANGLE will also be bringing you much of the top news from the Tableau Customer Conference as it unfolds.
